Threads of Excellence
Excellence is a journey that is sustainable only in an ecosystem (of organization) that is being nurtured by its leaders. This ecosystem would need to continuously evolve to respond to the internal and external changes. It involves leaders walking the talk on excellence and building culture. This seminar will throw light on the culture of excellence that has to be developed in the organizations and amongst individuals to excel in their fields.
This conference was one of its kind initiatives and looked at analyzing the different facets of excellence and the culture of excellence amongst individuals and teams.
Event in 2009
ASAP Management Consultants held a seminar on ‘Threads of Xcellence’ at Hotel Accord Metropolitan, Chennai on 18th of September 2009. KPMG was the Knowledge partner to the conference. The Economic Times was the exclusive Media Partner to the conference. Brand Portrait Pvt Ltd, Qimpro Consultants Pvt Ltd and INTOTO Consultants were strategic partners to the conference.
An exclusive survey on excellence was carried out by KPMG. The report was presented in the conference.
The Lead Sponsor to the event was TAKE Solution Limited. The other sponsors to the event were VVD & Sons Pvt Limited and Ma Foi – A Randstad Group Company. The event was attended by over 200 participants.

Path forward
The Threads of Excellence would be taken forward along with their respective dimension and values in subsequent seminars. ASAP would organize seminars and programs that would make the individual threads strong and then create a design that would enable organization to make a fabric of culture.
The “entangled threads” can take excellence in backward path. The threads would need to be carefully removed from the confused state to a proper combination and proper knot(s) to get the desired results.
